Class Schedule

 AHA Heartcode

 BEGINNING 2/1/2021

To minimize the risk of Covid-19 transmission JNJ is transitioning to online ACLS and PALS courses

  1. HeartCode is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for AHA courses. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course online in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session.
  2. To start the process student must register in Enrollware for Heartcode Part 1.
  3. Students must then create an account on eLearning.heart.org, complete the online course and exam, and recieve a certificate of completion.
  4. Students are now ready for HeartCode Part 2, an instructor-led hands-on session, where they will practice and test skills to demonstrate proficiency. Students must present their certificate to enter this session.
  1. The online portion, Heartcode Part 1, takes approximately 6 hours to complete, depending on the student’s level of experience. The hands-on session, Heartcode Part 2, will take approximately 60 minutes.
  2. All student content, including course manuals, is contained within the HeartCode online portion, No additional student materials are needed.
  3. Students can log in and out as many times as they choose. However, the written exam must be taken in one sitting.

Students may contact the AHA Customer Support Center at 888-242-8883 or eLearning.help@heart.org for technical assistance.
