You must be AHA certified in BLS for at least 1 year. You'll need to fax a copy of your current BLS card to 856-532-6980 before the date of the class. You will be tested in your BLS skills at the class. You must attend both dates for the instructor class. You will also be required to attend a BLS class to observe, and attend a BLS class to teach so you can be monitored. Cards will not be issued until all of this is completed.
The BLS Instructor Essentials Course is taught in a blended learning format. AHA BLS Instructor candidates must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on session conducted by BLS Training Center Faculty
